Obituary
It is with regret that we record the passing of long serving
member of the Club, Bob Dickie, on Wednesday 3 May aged 85.
Bob joined the Club in 1962 and was a highly respected member
who regularly attended the Club over the 60 years.
In 2015 he was accorded Life Membership and was also elected
Patron of the Club in the same year.
From 1964 to 2006 he owned and managed Hope Hickman Auto Electrical.
Heavily involved in yachting he was a past commodore of the Royal Akarana Yacht Club.
Bob’s funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday at the
All Saints Chapel, Purewa St Johns Road Meadowbank at 12 noon.
AGM – 6pm, 17th May 2023
All members are encouraged to attend.
