Churchill Club Pool Rules

In the event of a foul shot, your opponent may place the white ball anywhere on the table.

If one or more of your balls were potted in the foul then they are reinstated on the table – to be placed on the black spot or if covered, as near as possible to it without touching another ball in a direct line between the black spot and the rear cushion.

An opponent’s ball, which is potted in a foul, remains potted and is not reinstated to the table.

If a foul is committed by going in off the break your opponent gets to place the white anywhere and it is an open table.

If a foul is committed by going in off the break and a ball or balls are potted, then the ball or balls are reinstated as before, your opponent gets to place the white anywhere and it is an open table.

If more than one of each ball is potted from the break, then you chose unders or overs (littles or bigs) and surrender the table. Your opponent then plays his allocated ball.

If the black is potted off the break, then it’s a re-rack and the break is re-taken.

A foul shot is as per “old rules” and an honest attempt applies in the event of being placed in a snooker by your opponent. You must hit a cushion with the white ball prior to striking an opponent’s ball or missing target ball.

If you have snookered yourself and fail to hit one of your balls, then that is deemed to be a foul.

A snooker is when you cannot directly strike both sides of the object ball.

Any foul on the black ends the game.
